If a tie shaped piece of your plaid seats suddenly goes missing, that would be me.

Not exactly, but kind of close.
There's a shitload to chose from there.

BUT I WANT AUTHENTIC GTI.

I got a wallet made out of it a few years ago, and decided I wanted to try and make a hoodie, so I went looking for yards of authentic GTI tartan. Turns out it's $120/yard if you can even find it.

Haha, I've seen their stuff in the past. Looks pretty damn good.
That's a lot though, lol.

I've had it for probably 3 years now, seems to be holding up pretty well.
And yeah, I kinda gave up on that one. Just think, a kilt (which requires ~9 yards of fabric) would cost nearly $1,100.

I have an MK6 GTI and my seats are identical to those. After a while, you don't even notice that you're driving a car with PLAID SEATS! :)

They look really nice, haha.

Jeeeeez, I've been thinkng about some kind of wallet from that site. Don't know which one, but I'd prefer an ID thing.

I have a bifold, but I say go for it! Like I said, they hold up well, and they use authentic seat cloth, which is nifty.

I'm seriously considering it now.

Alternate idea (if you're of Scotch heritage): Reupholster GTI seats in your clan's tartan!

Hell of a lot cheaper that way, for sure!
